About Mark
I graduated from UConn with a degree in Molecular Biology and currently work as a research associate in a neuroscience lab at UMass Medical School. I have years of experience tutoring math, from high school geometry to college-level calculus. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps while building confidence in students. I’m especially skilled at making analogies that simplify and clarify difficult scientific and mathematical concepts, making them easier to grasp. I previously worked at Mathnasium and have taught college students, giving me a strong foundation in helping learners of all levels. I enjoy making math accessible and showing students that anyone can improve with the right guidance and practice.
