About Jillian
I have two bachelor's degrees in Spanish Language and World Language Education. I have an additional Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and will be pursuing a Master's/PhD in Spanish. I have experience tutoring one-on-one and teaching entire classes. I student taught at a local middle school and spent a year as an intern at a local high school, both in Connecticut.

My teaching method is to use the target language as much as possible and provide as many ways for students to express themselves as possible. I am patient and able to provide lessons to students of all ages. I strongly believe that a low affective filter (making the student as comfortable as possible) is a key ingredient to language learning.
