About Davey
I am a UCLA graduate with a B.S. in Statistics. I love solving puzzles, crosswords, and playing complex strategy board games. I know that school can be tough but I don't want math to be a primary reason for that. My hope is that after our sessions together you will be excited about learning and confident about your abilities to tackle your math class.

I am a lifelong learner and I think it is crucial that your student is as well. I recognize that every student learns slightly differently and my goal is to quickly identify that learning posture and either correct it or cater my tutoring towards that learning style.
I always ask students ahead of time what they are learning so that I can prepare example problems for our session.
I value constant communication with parents and always spend time after sessions debriefing how the student is doing and what they need to continue working on to be successful.
