About Lauren
I am in my second year studying French and Spanish at UCL. This is not only study of the language, but its culture: film, literature, history, politics. I have tutoring experience in French and Spanish to GCSE & A-Level standard, as well as in 11+ prep; reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, VR , NVR, exam technique. I myself passed the 11+ and attended Bexley Grammar School from secondary through to sixth-form level.

I prefer a relaxed and collaborative tutoring environment, setting out a tailored plan for each student to address their needs, encouraging their strengths as well as tackling their weaknesses. I approach each skill/subject (as listed previously) separately, to ensure thorough and in-depth understanding: using interactive as well as written tasks, setting mini-tests and writing composition tasks all the while. However, given that the exam is now mixed and no longer separated by subject, I will also regularly give tasks that test multiple if not all the skills/subject at once. I can tutor for the Bexley or the Kent test.
