About Arun
I am currently a third-year UCL Medicine (MBBS BSc) student with a strong passion for both learning and mentoring. Having gone through the competitive medical school application process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel and how valuable clear guidance can be. Throughout school and university, I have always enjoyed supporting younger students, whether through mentoring, academic help or sharing practical strategies that made a real difference to my own performance. I chose to teach because I genuinely find it rewarding to see students grow in confidence, refine their skills and achieve outcomes they once thought were out of reach. For me, tutoring is not just about improving grades but also helping students develop clarity, resilience and belief in their own ability.

As a UCL Medicine (MBBS BSc) student who scored 3190 in the UCAT, achieved A* in both Chemistry and Biology, and earned all 9s at GCSE, I understand exactly what it takes to secure competitive university offers and perform under pressure. I received offers from every university I applied to — including UCL, Imperial, Bristol, Manchester and Southampton — and I now use the same strategic approach to help my students achieve their goals.
I aim to create lessons that are focused and results-driven, but also supportive and motivating. Whether we are mastering UCAT timing and decision-making, preparing for GCSE or A-level exams, refining personal statements, or building confident MMI responses, I ensure students understand not just what to do, but why it works. I combine clear structure with encouragement, honest feedback and practical strategies so students leave each session feeling more confident and in control of their progress. Students and parents can expect transparency, clear action plans and measurable improvement throughout.
