About Ashlin
I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and helping students feel more confident in their learning. Tutoring gives me the chance to support others in reaching their goals. Studying Engineering at UCL has taught me how to approach problems logically and explain concepts clearly, which are skills I bring into every lesson. I aim to create a calm, focused environment where students can ask questions, build understanding, and improve steadily over time.

I keep my lessons clear and focused, using real-world examples to explain ideas. I ask questions, give short recap tasks, and make sure students understand before moving on. I also help with exam technique and goal setting. Usually 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs. I'm a mechanical engineering undergraduate currently at UCL and I have tutored maths, physics and economics before both at A Level and GCSE. GCSE and A Level students (ages 15–18), especially those who want help with understanding and exam skills not typically taught in the classroom.
