About Vincent
I am a PHD student of UBC major in biology. I have a lot of experience in teaching college and high school students. I am a teaching assistant (TA) of UBC since 2015. I started tutor business in 2017 and I provide private and group lessons about IB math, physic, chemistry, biology as well as college G1-3 biology courses (like cell biology, genetic, molecular biology and so on).

An important strategy of my teaching is to know the student well and understand what they are struggling with. As a TA of UBC I've helped several hundreds of students in years. Thus I've accumulated lots of experience about how to help a student. From there I help the student to build up their knowledge and develop test skills. Also, I believe that patient is the key of good teaching. As a teacher, being patient and encouraging will help student gain confidence and interest in their learning.
