About Rutendo
I am 23 years old and am currently studying toward my third degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Witwatersrand. I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for learning and teaching. I am patient and motivated, and I would love to get other students to love my subjects the way that I do by teaching my students how to learn and how to enjoy the learning process. I have 4 years of tutoring experience with my main subjects being Maths and Biology. I've helped many students achieve their academic goals and have received excellent feedback. I pride myself on being able to adapt my teaching pace, structure, and presentation depending on the students so that we can get the best results together. I like to keep my students motivated in their learning while challenging them to do and be better.

If you cannot identify problematic areas, I like to start by teaching the content allowing you to stop me anywhere they feel confused then providing you with various test questions to see if you do understand and can tackle the work comfortably. If you have specific problem areas I start the first lesson with a general quiz to identify the areas you struggle in.
I provide worksheets for students to fill out during the session and go over them again when they are revising for tests. After the lesson, I give you access to a video recording of the lesson so you can go through them whenever you need them. My lessons are aimed at getting you comfortable with your subjects and helping you learn so they don't feel as daunting :)
