About Belinda
Does your child need extra help after school or during the weekend?
I am a certified Special Education Teacher (K-12) and an Elementary Teacher (K-8). I currently teach Special Education in a high school setting.
I have a BA in Special Education and Elementary Education from WGU. I have a Masters in Elementary Math from WGU. I also have a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Eastern. I am also a certificated Principal.

I can tutor in all elementary subjects, English, Writing, Algebra and Geometry. I am able to help your child build skills that may be causing barriers in the classroom. I build instruction around each individual student needs that include a variety of methods (visual, verbal, movement).
Each lesson is designed to build on their prior knowledge and practice skills to prepare them for the next stage in learning. It is important that learners are provided information in a variety of methods. I am not a worksheet teacher, although there is value in using worksheets occasionally; there is more value in constructing their knowledge through learning activities.
