About Romy
I am a fourth year University of Cape Town student, studying towards an Honours degree in Economics. I have been tutoring for three years now and have found that students consistently see an increase in final year results. I love teaching and aim to help every student I teach reach their full potential. I also love to get to know students, find out about their hobbies and skills, and integrate these into the learning process. This makes the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

I prioritise student engagement and understanding in my lessons, with use of methods that focus on a total grasp of the content. I am confident in Maths, with 80% achieved at final NSC results, and first year mathematics completed. I am also available for Afrikaans and English tutoring.
I tend to structure my lessons with my explanation of the content first, then provide mock test questions for the student to practice with. Along the way, I make sure that the student is explaining the method they're undertaking. I teach students from Grade 4-10.
