About Josna
Hello! My name is Josna and I am a fourth year medical student. I am currently intercalating in MSc Clinical Anatomy.
I have many years of experience in tutoring, whether it be for medical students or children! I have delivered many sessions for pre-clinical medical students to ensure they have a good foundational understanding of basic principles which have helped them with their endeavours in their clinical years. I have received consistent good feedback, with all students stating they were well engaged in all sessions and came away with a greater understanding.
I look forward to teaching other people and also learning from others too!

- I am happy to teach the subjects: A-level and GCSE biology, All pre-clinical material for year 1 and 2 medicine (Physiology, Pathology and Anatomy)
- I have special interest in anatomy and I am currently undertaking a master's!
- I ensure all lessons will have a welcoming atmosphere and will accommodate to levels of knowledge
- I tend to start from basics and build knowledge up to ensure each student has a good foundational knowledge on each topic.
- I believe it is very important to teach how to think rather than what to learn, therefore my tutoring style ensures an engaging session with the student where they can have a mix of teaching and also doing tasks to consolidate knowledge
- I have much experience in tutoring all years. From currently mentoring first and second year medical students as well as working with children.
