I am currently employed as a Year 4 classroom teacher and Maths Coordinator for our school. I have taught in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In previous roles, I have been the ICT Coordinator and PE Coordinator.

My teaching methodology is to ensure children have a secure foundation to enable them to progress to more difficult concepts. My lessons begin with a warm up that reviews concepts the student has learnt in the past. The core of my lesson focuses on the student gaining a secure understanding of the concept. This is followed by more in-depth questions that challenge the students to use their reasoning and problem solving skills.
