About Lucy
I am a University of Sheffield BEng(Hons) Mechatronics and Robotics Graduate based in Sheffield aged 23. I have A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. My degree involved complex Mathematics and Physics so I have a good understanding of those subjects and their practical applications. During my time at University I taught engineering concepts to people of various skill levels as optional extra curricular activities. I currently work on a freelance basis and as such have some free time in the week where I would like to share my knowledge.

I believe STEM subjects can be fun and engaging to learn. As an engineer I think the best way to understand mathematical problems is to look at real world examples, understanding maths and physics seems a lot more worth it if you can think of and design things you find interesting.
I mainly use diagrams and worksheets instead of walls of text, as colourful as possible and encourage students to design their own posters and build their own models to understand concepts in their own words.
