Hi there I offer tutoring service to students of all abilities. I adapt my level and teaching style to what the students needs and goals are. This can take the form of editing essays, helping with analysis skills or how to structure responses. I focus on giving students the skills to understand rubrics or the VCE Study Designs and therefore what examiners are looking for. These skills are transferable to other subjects. Furthermore I focus on how to study working through the process of writing essays and finding evidence etc. with my students so they develop the ability to do these things independently as well.
My ethos around tutoring is to encourage an interest in the subject therefore motivate study. I foster a non-judgemental environement where all questions are good questions, and making mistakes is the best way to learn! I additionally teach skills transferrable to all subjects, such as proactive study, adhering to a rubric and time management around tests and exams.
