About Phoebe
I am a student at Durham University where I read Ancient, Medieval and Modern History. I took A Levels in English (A ), Geography (A*) and History (A) as well as GCSE English Language (A*) and English Literature (A*). I have tutored family and friends and would love to pass on tips and advice. Having recently gone through the exams and processes I am aware of mark schemes and how best to go about learning.

English- I have studied specific English Lit. texts in detail so will be more useful if you are studying some of the texts I have done (eg Of Mice and Men; Hamlet; Dracula; The Bloody Chamber; Much Ado About Nothing; Canterbury Tales; Streetcar Named Desire- there are many others from GCSE and A Level so feel free to enquire). Language-wise I can help preparing for exams or simply working with you and improving your style and confidence.
History and Geography- strong understanding of these subjects (my degree is in History) and so can tutor these also, working with a knowledge of the curriculum and what is required to reach the highest grades.
