About Ruth
I graduated as an engineer and have used maths in the real world in a huge variety of situations. I am able to engage students with maths by showing how it is relevant to their lives - in sport, music, nature and many other areas. Maths underpins so many areas of our lives and with a deeper understanding of how it is relevant helps students to stay focussed and motivated to learn.

I have taught students both online and face to face since 2008.
I teach maths as a life skill and also help students with exam technique to maximise their results. I am familiar with all the UK exam boards and teach pure maths, mechanics and statistics.
I use a large library of past papers to help students prepare for exams.
