About Kirsty
Hello! My name's Kirsty and I have a First Class degree from the University of Leeds in English Literature. I have tutored students across a range of ages, and have assisted students in raising their grades whilst growing their confidence in the subject. I achieved an A* for English Literature A-Level, as well as an A in History A-Level, achieved only 8's and 9's in all my GCSEs, and was awarded an A* for my EPQ which was creative writing and dissertation based.

I work with students, tailoring the session to their specific needs, as well as their exam mark schemes and specifications. This ensures that my students understand their texts and progress towards the grades desired. Additionally, I focus on building the confidence of my students, enabling them to cultivate and believe in their own ability to achieve the grades they're aiming for.

Kirsty is a great tutor! She has helped me gain confidence with English, especially understanding how to interpret the language. With Kirsty’s help I was able to improve my English grade significantly and would 100% recommend her as a tutor.
As a teacher myself, I think Kirsty is an outstanding tutor and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is supportive, reliable and patient. She has as an excellent understanding of what you need to do to do well in English and explains ideas really clearly.
