Lessons are structured individually for each student. If no exceptions are made, I would start with a “brain dump” of what the student went over, two truths or a lie—an activity for a warmup frequently could also be listening to a exact problem the student shares. I will ask students to reason and justify procedures as they actively recall their knowledge. If a student is stressed that they may not understand an idea, that is totally ok! I always meet students where they are at. I make materials for each lesson and have designed many resources for students to choose. I have worked with students from K-12 and university levels.
