About Sophie
I am a PhD in psychology with a good knowledge of biology and human physiology. Happy to tutor psychology at any level and biology up to A level. I have 10 GCSE's , all A or A*, four A levels, a degree in Psychology, a masters in Health Psychology (with distinction) and a PhD in Health psychology. I am a fully qualified, practicing psychologist and have always had a passion for teaching which is why I wish to peruse tutoring in my spare time.
I am happy to work with any age group and am a patient and encouraging tutor. My psychology skills means that I am extremely good at motivation students and improving their confidence. I can also teach students not only about the subject at hand but skills such as essay writing, time management in exams and stress reduction techniques to improve their performance.
