About Fiona
I am a 19 year old female student currently studying a joint honours degree in Law and French in University College Cork. I completed my Leaving Certificate exams last year and received a H1 grade in French. I also spent the summer in Paris as an au pair, improving my level of French further.
I hope through my lessons, to be able to engage students with the language and show them that it can be a great asset further down the line. I use mix media in my teaching (flashcards, music, film, articles) to show how learning a language does not need to be boring, and studying can be very enjoyable once you find a method that works for you.

I am able to teach from complete beginner level up to Junior Cert level French. Most classes will be 1 hour in length however this can be flexible. I can teach online lessons, or travel to teach in person at your home if you live within Cork city.
My teaching methods again are flexible to focus on potential weaker areas. The function of my teaching is to improve overall standard of French in an engaging way, which I hope will also develop your interest and appreciation for the language.

Details
Standard rate is €20 per hour. If I am travelling to your home, a travel fee of €2 may occur, however this will only be if I need to take a bus to travel to your location. If you are local and I am able to walk, this fee will not occur.
