About Clyde
My name is Clyde, and I bring both academic excellence and professional discipline to every lesson I teach. As a JD–MBA graduate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Texas A&M, I have dedicated years to mastering law, business, and environmental policy. Currently preparing for the Nevada Bar Exam, I understand the challenges of rigorous study and know how to guide others through them with clarity and focus. My teaching style is structured yet flexible. I break down complex material into clear steps, use real-world examples to make abstract ideas practical, and encourage active participation so that students build both knowledge and confidence. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals, whether that means mastering legal analysis, strengthening business strategy, refining essays, or understanding environmental systems. What sets me apart is not only the depth of my education but also my professionalism and mentorship approach. I treat every student with respect, come fully prepared, and ensure that learning is engaging and effective. With three degrees and a proven record of academic achievement, I provide students with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to succeed.

My Approach as a Tutor
As a JD–MBA graduate with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, I focus on making complex concepts clear, practical, and memorable. My teaching method blends structured explanation, active discussion, and real-world application. I believe students learn best when knowledge connects to their goals—whether passing an exam, improving writing, or preparing for a career.
⸻
My Teaching Method & Techniques
• Customized Lessons: I assess each student’s strengths and challenges before tailoring the session.
• Practical Examples: I use real cases, business scenarios, or environmental issues to ground abstract ideas.
• Active Learning: Instead of lecturing, I ask guiding questions that lead students to their own “aha” moments.
• Skill-Building Focus: Writing, analysis, and critical thinking are built into every lesson, no matter the subject.
⸻
️ A Typical Lesson Plan
1. Warm-Up (5 minutes): Quick review of the last lesson or student’s questions.
2. Core Lesson (30–40 minutes): Focused teaching on law, business, writing, or environmental studies—using examples and problem-solving.
3. Application (10–15 minutes): Practice exercises, case studies, or mock exam questions.
4. Wrap-Up (5 minutes): Key takeaways, next steps, and assignments for continued growth.
⸻
What Sets Me Apart
• Triple-Degree Expertise: Few tutors combine law, business, and environmental science—giving students a wider perspective.
• Current Bar Exam Preparation: I teach with the discipline and rigor of someone actively preparing for the Nevada Bar Exam.
• Professional & Academic Balance: I bring both the academic depth of three degrees and the practicality of real-world application.
• Mentorship Approach: I don’t just teach content—I coach students in study skills, discipline, and confidence.
⸻
Who My Lessons Are For
• Law Students: 1L–3L courses, bar prep, or legal writing improvement.
• Business Students: Undergraduates or MBA-level seeking clarity in strategy, leadership, or case analysis.
• Environmental Studies Students: High school, undergrad, or graduate-level seeking help in sustainability and policy.
