About Farah
I am a postgraduate student who (1) was born in an Arabic speaking country (2) grew up in an English speaking household and (3) who was educated in a French school and university. In short, I'm in love with languages !
I have 4 years of experience in language teaching. I have taught Arabic speaker the complex beauty of the French language, but also guided French and English speakers through the uniqueness of the Arabic language and its incomparable depth.
In short, I can easily provide Arabic lessons to English as well as French speakers based in Glasgow (or elsewhere via Zoom/GoogleMeets)

As a psychology student who's passionate about language learning, I've found that the best and most effective way to learn languages is via audio-visual stimulation. It's scientifically proven that our brain is able to learn most efficiently when words are connected to sounds/pictures and when we actively practice rather than passively receive new info.
That said, my teaching method has always been is plain and simple: fun, cognitively engaging and most importantly: memorable!
To do so, I tend to include a lot of visual and audio material such as photos, music and movie clips so that students get comfortable with the many forms Arabic can come in.
Depending on WHY you decide to learn Arabic in the first place, I will always personalize my teaching methods and materials depending on your goals!
