About Sofia
I am a dedicated math tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science. My focus is on teaching students how to think critically and solve problems creatively. I lead problem-solving workshops that emphasize logical reasoning and structured approaches. I also prepare students for mathematics competitions, building confidence and skill in high-pressure contexts. My lessons often center on number theory and problem analysis, which challenge students to think deeply. My teaching style is highly structured, where each concept builds directly on the one before. I place strong emphasis on algebra because it provides the foundation for calculus, geometry, and statistics.
