About Michael
I am a retired PE Teacher who has been coaching Triathlon for over 10 years. I am a GB Age-Group international who has competed all over the world. My speciality is swimming . As well as pool coaching I have been involved in coaching introduction to open water swimming at my local Crosby Lakeside and Liverpool Watersports centre . I have worked for Swimtrek as a swim guide since 2018, guiding and coaching in Mallorca and Croatia.

I am a friendly, enthusiastic teacher who has experience of working with swimmers with a wide range of ability. I structure my lessons based on the guidance of British triathlon coaching. A typical session would include a warm up, swimming drills, a main set and cool down. I also have experience of video analysis which swimmers have found an invaluable in helping swimmers self evaluate and improve their swimming technique.
