About Shanon
Completing my MA in Translation Studies at Kent State University provided the technical foundation for my teaching. Growing up in Bogotá before spending 11 years in the US allows me to navigate linguistic nuances between Latin American and Castilian variants. I guide students through essential idioms, writing refinement, and cultural context while preparing them for the DELE exam.
Listening practice and vocabulary building remain central to my method for learners of all levels. Working with individuals from Mexico to Argentina, I help heritage learners and beginners master everyday phrases and professional interview preparation through a calm and precise lens. My lived experience bridges the gap between two cultures.
