About Fiona
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera and over nine years of teaching experience, I help singers unlock their full potential. I specialise in contemporary worship and gospel, but also love teaching Pop, Indie, and R&B. My focus is helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. Breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal health are central to my teaching. I work closely with shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring recording artists. Live performance coaching for congregational singing is a strength I bring to every lesson. I guide students to connect emotionally with their songs so every note carries meaning. Singing is not just technique—it’s storytelling and spiritual expression. My approach balances technical skill with artistic freedom. I create a supportive environment where students feel safe to explore and grow. Together, we’ll tackle challenges and celebrate breakthroughs. Music should be uplifting, transformative, and fun. My teaching method focuses on developing your unique vocal sound. Breath control, vocal resonance, and projection are the foundation of my lessons. We explore tone shaping to create a voice that is expressive and versatile. I teach students how to use different vocal qualities, from head voice to belting and mixed voice. Lessons are customised for The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner. Healthy vocal technique is always a priority. I help students unlock their full vocal potential through guided exercises and real song practice. Performance skills and stage presence are integrated into every session. Each student receives attention tailored to their strengths and goals. Lessons are supportive, encouraging, and structured. You will learn to use your voice with confidence. Together, we enhance flexibility, tone, and projection. Singing should feel empowering, and my lessons aim to make it enjoyable.
