About Ivy
I am a piano tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience in both in-person and online settings. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, with a focus on pedagogy. My lessons emphasize sight-reading fluency, score analysis, and the interpretation of complex classical repertoire. I adapt my teaching to individual student needs, integrating music history, theory, finger exercises, and period performance practices. My piano teaching approach emphasizes ear training and auditory skill development for all levels. I help Composers and Digital Producers recognize patterns and internalize musical structures without sheet music.
