About Charlotte
Hello, I am Charlotte!
I am currently in the process of training to be a Primary Teacher and I am in my final year set to be a qualified teacher in July of 2022. In the past few years I have explored many jobs but found none of them to be as rewarding as teaching. There is no greater moment than the moment when your student understands a concept you have been teaching them!
I chose primary teaching over secondary because it allows me to teach every subject rather than just one - and behaviour management may have fed into this decision also haha. However, I love tutoring GCSE students because the moment I opened my envelope with my results in was a moment I will never forget and I would love to help my students achieve the grades they deserve and enjoy their special moment for the rest of their lives!

Hello! I am currently training to be a primary teacher but work as a GCSE maths tutor part time. During my teacher training I have explored different teaching methods that work well for me and my students. I often like to explore learning creatively to engage my students more than a textbook would.
My lessons are typically one hour but this can be adjusted to suit your timetable. We will typically begin with an overview of the lesson laying the expectations so you are aware of what we will be learning and how we will approach the lesson. I then like to have a simple starter activity to warm up our brains and then work into the main body of the lesson. Questions are absolutely encouraged and the content will be tailored to your style of learning as we want the best outcome for you!
I am also able to tutor pupils aged 5-11 in any subject as this is what my training covers.
