About Gayatri
I have taught a varied age group and a varied range of abilities as well. My role as a tutor is to guide a student and nurture in them a love of English. I firmly believe if my tutees are successful in their exams, it is usually the result of their own effort and due credit should be given them, not me.

I am a British national and have worked as an English tutor for more than 10 years. I teach a varied age group, ranging from years 5 and 6 pupils sitting their 11+ exams to years 10 and 11 pupils sitting their GCSE and IGCSE exams. My style of teaching is aimed at encouraging students to engage with and meaningfully interpret a text on a deeper level. My lessons are informal and discussion based, with open ended questions to encourage pupils to analyze, interpret and evaluate various texts.
