About Ben
I am a trained teacher (PGCE) and have worked in the education sector for nearly 15 years in a variety of roles but with an ongoing focus on teaching English to students of all ages. Students I have taught have achieved Functional Skills (E1 - L2), GCSE and A-Level qualifications.

I have an informal teaching style based on engaging topics and content which meet the needs of the awarding bodies but also sparks enjoyment in the student. I use current as well as historical examples to inform my delivery because I think it's important not to focus solely on one period when developing an understanding of a given subject.
