About Kush
My name is Kush Patel and I am a private tutor recruiting for my 2020 student cohort. I am an Old-Elthamium now studying Business Management at Cass Business School London.
I have been a private tutor for 3 years, teaching over 30 GCSE and A-Level students. I myself sat the new style A-Levels which now demand an to be sat exam at the end of an intensive two year learning process and achieved three A*'s. As a result of this I am able to teach my students in a way that both reinforces their abilities and inspires confidence in their knowledge which allows them to perform at an excellent standard.
Your Son/Daughter would have sat the 'YELLIS' test at the start of the academic year. This is standardized test sat to determine your Son/Daughter 's predicted grades. Predicted grades are fundamentally important tools for universities as they provide details of how committed your Son/Daughter is to the challenges of higher education. I have found that students who are predicted lower grades (B's) will be demotivated in their studies. This will make them loose confidence in the classroom eroding academic performance. My program will build on basics and enrich further knowledge in order to achieve grades far higher than those predicted. "A-levels are not an accurate measure of how intelligent somebody is, but provide an excellent representation of how much effort they're willing to put in."
All of my GCSE students have received 7-9 grades; and my A-Level students have all received A grades.

In 2018, A-Levels were reformed. They have become linear meaning that exams are now sat at the end of an intense two year course. Students are struggling to cope with this and as a result, results have suffered. In 2019 UCAS found that 68% of students did not achieve their predicted grades and a further 72% did not get a place at their chosen university.
My unique curriculum and teaching style will enforce new subject material aswell as build upon existing knowledge. The content covered will be mirrored directly from the exam board's specification in order to reinforce classroom teaching. This program will thread the knot between class-work and home-work in order to propel results in the right direction. This teaching approach has been very successful as it builds on students confidence allowing them to make the strides in education themselves.
