About Jannik
Hey, I am Jannik a top of the class Highschool graduate from Munich, Germany and i am currently living and teaching in Sydney, Australia. Next year I will go back to Germany and study at the Berlin University of Technology.
During Highschool, my favorite and most successful subjects have always been maths and physics, which has led me to tutor many of my classmates, as well as many younger students (as part of the tutoring group). Furthermore, as part of my graduation, I was awarded the best student award for physics and maths, earning myself a membership in the German Mathematical Society and the German Physical Society.
I really enjoy getting to know new people and would love to share my approach to maths and physics and to aid your child to build a foundational understanding of these subjects, so that it too will get to enjoy them and in the end may also become top of the class!

My tutoring classes are based mainly on exercise and supporting the students to solve the problems independently.
This has worked best for my students in the past and ensures that the student does not only copy the actions of tutors, but is rather actively learning and becomes capable of solving questions (and variations) by him/herself. Hence, after a relatively short period of time, the student is building an advanced and broadened understanding of maths and physics.
Length of lessons are flexible and normally range from one to two hours (open for negotiation).
I was a tutor in my German Highschool for 2 years and the head of the tutoring group for 1 more year afterwards. As well as that I tutored multiple students outside of school in the subjects maths and physics.
