• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  When I moved to Canada, I was put in a welcome school to learn French. We only had French classes and Math classes in which the teacher didn't teach anything because the students weren't at the same level as each other. That's when we all started helping and teaching each other what we knew. That's why after a while, I developed an interest in math and tutoring.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  The reason why I'm passionate about math is that there are so many ways of solving one problem. I remember when I was in high school, even the teacher would discover a new way to solve a problem in class which was super exciting.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I had many struggles with Math as I was growing up. Now, whenever my students are struggling with a problem, I can understand why. Because most of the time I had the same problem and I knew how to explain to them the right way to solve the problem without creating any more confusion.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  I had two teachers who made me love math. One of them was my 6th-grade teacher and I still use her amazing methods while doing math. The other one was my tutor. She was so passionate about math that made me love studying and learning math. She is the reason why I now love tutoring math.

• What are your keys to success?

  My number one key to success is to approach everything with love because, without love, there is no passion, patience or energy in what you are doing after a while. To be the best at a job, you first have to show up in the best mood for doing the job.
