Hi, im Tiara and I teach younger age groups from yr4-6 sciences. I am a student with a strong passion for science whos predicted 8s and 9s and would like to pass that on to other students.

About Tiara
I'm 14 years old and currently predicted all 8s and 9s in my GCSE science subjects. I have always had a passion for science and love helping others understand and enjoy it too.
Predicted top grades in GCSEs (8s and 9s), shows my understanding of science at a high level and my proficiency in all core science areas: biology, chemistry, and physics, gives me a great foundation to explain key concepts in detail, especially to younger year groups.
Science is my favourite subject as it explains the world around us in such interesting ways which i would love to pass down to younger students.

During lessons i will expose my students to different learning styles to create a guide that they can use for revision as they grow. These include text learning, colour coding learning and imagery learning which my previous students definitely enjoyed the most.
I have practical experience working with younger children, having served as an assistant dance teacher. This role helped me develop essential skills for engaging young students, such as patience, clear communication, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles which i apply when tutoring.I understand how to break down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas, especially for younger students who are just beginning with science and how important it is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, making complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for primary-aged students from as young as year 4 to preparing for 11+ in year 6.
Although many parents would assume I am too young to effectively teach younger students, however it's only an advantage. Being closer in age than most tutors, I understand the kinds of challenges and questions primary students might have. I know how to make the learning fun and approachable, rather than overwhelming.
Since I was learning similar material only a few years ago, I remember what was confusing at first and can provide explanations that really click with younger students.
Growing up especially in my transition through year 6 to high school my confidence had dropped in all the new and more difficult concepts i was being presented with. I re-built this confidence whilst also creating a great learning foundation to further excel in my studies and I believe i can input this when teaching science to students.
Additionally considering I'm a student myself, my fees can be more affordable, offering parents a valuable service at a reasonable rate.
I believe my passion for science, strong academic record, and understanding of kids make me a great choice to help primary students excel in science.
