About Luis
I have gone through several degree plans which included science and mathematics. Math has been one of my favorite subjects since I was very young. I also love to help students reach and exceed their goals in study as this will help them greatly in their future goals.

My key objective when teaching is for the student to understand the mathematical steps and not simply memorize them. Memorized items can easily be forgotten and will not be as useful in the future. An understood item can be more easily recalled and used in future tasks. I try to conduct the classes in an interesting manner so the student can see how useful and commonly used mathematics really is. To interest the student so the student then has a move to practice and learn further on their own.
