About Camila
I'm a coach and in love with pilates. I worked as a gymnastics teacher at Fiocruz, a member of the Worker's Health project. I have experience in Pilates and I am trained by the Brazilian School of Health as an instructor. I worked as a trainee of the Ministry of Health in the HFB-VIDA Project, assisting in the elaboration of classes in the activities of: Work Gymnastics; Gymnastics and Pilates Mat along with the other trainees and the coordinator.

In pilates in the ground, or pilates mat, there is no use of apparatus, you can use accessories as balls, elastic bands and weights, which will help or promote greater resistance during exercise.
Breathing, posture, and body awareness are critical during movement. The main purpose of the method is to strengthen the core of the body, which is the source of strength, balance and movement. "Pilates is a method of physical exercise programmed to condition and relate body and mind, correct muscle imbalances, improve posture and tone the body" (DILLMAN, 2004). Every exercise contributes to people's quality of life, but always that a person is to start a sports practice, it is essential that a doctor is consulted before starting a new exercise routine
