About Su
Music performance started at Berklee College of Music where the focus was always on precision. After years on stage and in the studio, the practice of teaching violin became the primary focus. Working with 100 students has provided a clear view of where technique often falters.
Discipline matters. The approach remains methodical, ensuring that double stops and posture and hold are addressed with total clarity before moving to complex classical repertoire. It is simply how things work.

Bow hair digging into the string reveals exactly what needs correction during our 6.0 minute focused segments. Shifting positions and vibrato require a disciplined ear to ensure pitch is perfectly centered.
Rhythm and timing are non negotiable elements in every study session. Drawing on my Artist Diploma in Music Performance, we isolate specific bowing technique challenges to guarantee physical efficiency.
Clear progress is the only metric that counts in this studio. The technical requirements of ear training are balanced against musicality to ensure the sound produced is consistent. Technical foundations are built to support the repertoire.
