About
In addition to teaching full time, I participate in after school tutoring and have even taught adult education and ESL. I work together with our current ESL teacher as well as all of our regular education teachers to reinforce and enhance their lessons so that students have a much better understanding of their coursework. Even though I have taught for 32 years, I pay close attention to new and better methods of teaching at all times and adapt to them as needed. I often have students request that I move up grades as they also go from one level to another. Students readily benefit from being tutored by me both in understanding of concepts and how they relate to one another and in much higher grade point averages.

At the present time, I teach in a Junior High Help Center in Clarksville, Arkansas. I assist students with whatever they need help in, such as math, English, social studies, test taking skills, study skills, etc, All of our students are supplied with a computer netbook to enhance their learning experiences. I have a master's degree. I teach one on one & in small groups daily so I am able to reinforce what individual teachers teach and adjust my techniques to accommodate various levels of learning as well as language barriers.
