About Jake
I love to be able to pass along the knowledge that I have, showing you do have the ability to over come the math barrier which some do have. I like inspire students to learn rather to recall to memory. Over the years that I have tutored, it still makes me happy to see a student to be excited on what they take away from lessons and learn from it. I Enjoy teaching calculus of all forms of the subject. I have 4 years of knowledge with calc 1-3 and still continue to know how to better teach the subject. I once was not the best at Math courses in my college years, but I have learned to be a A student rather than a C student in my math courses. I went through the C to A student with the tricks and study methods that I have devolved over the years. I love passing those methods to other students that want to learn and study better.

I want to know the material that a student is currently working on, I normally create a study plan tailored for them. I want a student to have their own special way of learning rather than a general tutoring style. Each student has their own unique way of learning. It is my job to be able to learn from the student on how their styles are, so we can build upon their education in a more cohesive manner.
