About Jessica
Being at university in Veterinary Medicine, a degree which I love and feel passionate about, I recognise that alongside the effort I put in to get where I am, I need to acknowledge the fantastic support from teachers throughout the years.
While I do enjoy tutoring, I also see this as a way to give others the additional help which can sometimes be missed in larger classrooms.

I am aware that in larger class sizes, individual learning and understanding cannot always be catered to so with private tutoring, I aim to focus on the individual. Looking over course specifications and then identifying areas of trouble, I would like to work through these areas with my student at a pace they can dictate before giving them example questions to go through in their own time. By marking these and then working through their answers, I can see where the problems lie and hopefully address them in a way that is easier to understand.
I am also aware that different students will have preferred learning methods and so encourage communication about what works and what they think I can adjust or improve on.
My biology tutoring is aimed at all levels up to and including an A level standard (pre university)
