About Priya
I'm a third year student at the University of Oxford studying Classics and English, having left Cranbrook School with A*A*A in English Literature, Religious Studies and History.
As a student who has been through public examinations from the 11+ through to Oxford Entrance Exams, I am acutely aware of the pressures involved and can help your child manage their exam skill, timed conditions as well as stress-management, since I know first-hand how overwhelming academic pressure can be.

As a tutor for voluntary programmes such as Zero Gravity Mentoring and Schools Plus, I feel equipped to support your child through their exams. Moreover, as a student who hates exams but has managed to overcome them as a high-performing student, I will prepare your child to manage their revision in a way that works for their learning style. Whether this is through revision strategy, exam technique, or thorough understanding of the content, I will be sure to guide them through the process so that they can come out on top.
For GCSE and A-level tutoring, I will ask the student to identify areas of the specification they find the most challenging, and will work with them on understanding the content and applying exam technique. Especially when exams are coming up, I may ask the student to do a timed practised paper before the session that we can then go through together, perfecting any mistakes.
For University admissions tutoring, I will guide the student through collating super-curriculars, writing their personal statement and preparing for interview. As an Oxford student who already tutors in admissions for Zero Gravity Mentoring, this process is very familiar to me and I can offer lots of support and insight into the Oxbridge and Russell Group process.
For 11+ and School Entrance Exams, I will ask the student to identify the skills they find most challenging and develop this by going through past papers and explaining any aspects they don't understand.
