About Mariama
Currently, I am in my final year of college at NYU where I study drama. Previously, I’d gone to Emerson College where I studied Theatre & Performance for two years before transferring. I enjoy reading plays, taking photographs & editing them, and singing. I am a first-generation West African-American, speaking two languages: English & Malinké (and very basic French). My culture is a huge part of why I have such a passion for the arts.

Tutoring is something that I’ve done for about 8 years in tandem with childcare. I’ve taught a handful of children how to improve their skills in reading, phonetics, sight words. I enjoy getting to know my students and catering each lesson to them.
