About Kathleen
I graduated from college in 2012. I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. When I started teaching I taught all subjects to first grade students. As the years progressed I taught different grades and eventually ended up switching schools. I now work with third grade student and I teach math and social students/science. I enjoy preparing students for MCAP and giving them the confidence they need to work independently.

Over the years I have taught various skills. I have learned how to explain concepts, break skills down, and review misconceptions. I enjoy teaching elementary math skills. As a tutor I believe I am understanding, approachable, and consistent. I am excited to help students work to their best ability.
