• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I especially love electrochemistry, chemical bonding, and thermodynamics because they connect to real life. Heavy calculation topics can be tricky to teach but I always find simple ways to break them down.

• 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, my chemistry teacher in school was a big inspiration. He never just followed the textbook, he made chemistry feel relevant and exciting. That's exactly the kind of tutor I try to be for my students.

• 4) What qualities are required to be a good tutor?

  Patience comes first. Every student learns differently so you have to adapt. Clear communication, genuine care for the student, and the ability to simplify difficult ideas are what really make the difference.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or school days.

  I once had a student who had failed chemistry twice and was ready to quit. We worked together slowly using visuals and simple examples. She passed her next exam and said she finally felt confident. That moment is why I love tutoring.

• 6) What difficulties or challenges have you faced in your subject?

  The biggest challenge is students who come in already afraid of chemistry. Breaking that fear takes patience. Teaching online also means no lab demos, so I rely heavily on animations and diagrams to make concepts visual and clear.

• 7) Do you have a particular passion?

  That moment when a student finally gets something they've been struggling with, nothing beats it. I'm especially passionate about physical chemistry and I genuinely love helping students go from confused to confident.

  I truly care about each student and never use a one size fits all approach. With eight years of experience and a Master's in Physical Chemistry, I focus on building real understanding, not just helping students pass exams.
