About Emily George
During the school year, I am a school counselor/social worker at a K-8 school. Previously, I worked as a social worker/tutor/career coach at a transitional housing shelter with college students experiencing homelessness. Beyond this, I have worked as an ESL tutor, student teacher, and peer advisor in a variety of settings.

I individualize sessions to each student's needs and preferences. For example, for students who are visual or auditory learners, we will utilize a variety of mediums. I am a school social worker/counselor during the year, so I am accustomed to adjusting sessions to different students' needs.
We will begin with a brief review and a fun warm-up, before delving into the topic of the day. Lesson material can be adjusted for students from K-12 and college/grad school level for career prep work.
