Schools and universities put a lot of emphasis on teaching their students a plethora of information. However, for the majority of people, that is inadequate to foster actual comprehension and the capacity to respond to exam questions. Because of this, a lot of students, despite their aptitude, go for additional assistance from a private tutor.
My goal as a tutor is to instill in my students a solid understanding of how to solve exam questions and the courage to take on challenging problems. My educational philosophy is based on the notion that learning takes place in an atmosphere of mutual respect where students are encouraged to reflect and forge new connections on their own. From my personal experience,Because it can help students overcome their own learning obstacles and build the groundwork for a profound and long-lasting grasp of the material, one-on-one personal tuition has a special value for students.
Depending on the requirements and learning style of the student, my approach differs. But I believe in fostering independent thought in my pupils and whenever possible, I use examples from the actual world. I begin with familiar material for the kids and progressively go to more challenging material as their confidence grows. I continuously assess understanding using queries and illustrations. I don't give lectures or require my students to learn material by heart. I also don't finish my pupils' assignments for them!
Typically, I concentrate on exam or previous exam paper problems to validate, hone, and polish the student's knowledge and proficiency. Additionally, I place a lot of attention on other less evident but equally important abilities like essay structure and method, logical reasoning, and the efficient use of data and graphs.
I have a strong conviction in the value of tutoring for children, and watching my students reach their full potential gives me great happiness.
