Previous Experience:
- During Year 13 I tutored a Year 7 pupil in mathematics and helped her understand mathematical concepts while building her skill and confidence in the techniques. Through this, she was able to build her understanding of the concepts and perform them herself without assistance.

My approach to teaching mathematics is to provide a deeper understanding of the technique/concept to the student as I believe this allows the student to gain a better understanding of how the technique works and how to apply it to different situations. The skill can then be built upon through exposure to varying types of problems.
My previous experience as a tutor is during my first year of A-levels (Year 13) where a tutored a KS3 student in mathematics and helped her gain an understanding of the basic concepts.
The typical length of lesson: 60 mins
My lessons are targeted at all levels up to A-levels, for A-level students will be able to offer tutoring in Pure, Mechanics and Discrete (Further Maths)
