About Abigail
I have just graduated from the University of Glasgow having previously tutored GCSE students and A level students - with all students going on to improve by at least a grade and many by two. I am used to working with students of all ages. I have been tutoring for 4 years now and I find one of the most enjoyable parts is finding new ways to connect with each student as no two people learn in the same way.

I understand how challenging both maths and physics can be but also the immense satisfaction that comes from finally understanding a topic. A typical lesson will involve reviewing the work covered last week, introducing a new topic that the student wants to focus on, and trying to identify links between the two. However, the main portion of the lesson will focus on problems and example questions to show the topic in a variety of scenarios to ensure the student feels as comfortable as possible tackling the topic in exams. Once you get to grips with maths, it can be really interesting! I want to create engaging lessons so that not only do students understand maths and do well in it, but they enjoy it as well.
