About Yussef
I am a student doing Astrophysics and theoretical physics in unimelb. I run speed reading seminars on the side so I am used to teaching. I am great with kids since, besides running an ice cream truck, have done daycare, and I believe that I can truly understand and relate to them and their problems in learning, especially since I had issues with dyslexia when i was younger and managed to work through. I do believe in not wasting anytime, so the class will be proper from start to finish. I am not as much as a fan of rote learning, and will be using other techniques. The very fact that I am young also means that there is not as much of a generational barrier between us, and we can communicate better

I'll plan out each class in advance from start to finish, wether it be 45 minutes or 60 minutes. We will set goals from the start, and work towards those goals with a series of lessons. I am a huge believer in hands on learn so I will add as much as I can integrated with the theory. I do drive so I can come over and bring my apparatus with me to each in your house. Grades 4-9 are my main target. A typical class will be:
7 minute revision of previous class
3 minute pop quiz
15 minutes on topic 1
15 minute on topic 2
5 minute pop quiz topic 1
5 minute pop quiz topic 2
10 minutes evaluating quizzes and key concepts.
