So, about me...
I love it when someone finally has that magical moment of understanding. They may read all the theory, they may have got along on half-formed understandings which at some point inevitably lets them down. I’ve worked in some of the world’s largest investment banks, in corporate finance, as a trader and as a securities analyst, in venture capital and private equity, in scenarios requiring complex financial engineering, as well as funding start-ups as an investor and leading them as a CEO, COO and CFO, and across multiple sectors (with a particular focus on technology and now A.I.), even financial journalism.
I have an MSc (Finance) from the London Business School, an ACCA postgraduate diploma in accounting and finance, and have studied the mathematics of A.I. at Masters level. I am repeatedly called into major financial institutions to help them understand the financial characteristics of specific industries.
My students have included board-level executives of major public companies, entrepreneurs, VC and PE professionals, finance journalists on national newspapers, Finance Masters & MBA students, management consultants, accountants, investment analysts, wealth managers, and investor relations professionals in the US, the UK as well as across Europe and Asia.
